Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a unique form of health care that requires a compassionate and understanding relationship between the health professional and the client. Practitioners of Cranial Therapy are called upon to use the best within us to treat the best within our clients. This process enables the client to call upon their own natural corrective activities within the Cranial system. Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle approach, working with the person’s whole structure, physiology, mind, and spirit.

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is an essential treatment that can benefit individuals of all ages and effectively addresses a wide range of conditions. It can treat imbalances of the nervous system, accidents, physical trauma, certain issues of brain function, hyperactivity, behavioral problems, headaches, and sensory disorders.

CST is a gentle, noninvasive treatment in which the therapist aligns with the client’s subtle rhythms. Delicate touch allows the therapist to entrain and balance the Craniosacral system, bones, sutures, and membranes.

Craniosacral therapy involves the analytical and intuitive, the tangible and intangible, the ‘doing’ and ‘non-doing.’ Dr. Hugh Milne describes CST as a timeless gift, a channeling of healing energy guided by the inner eye and delivered from the compassionate heart through sensitive hands. It is the intersection of science, mindfulness, and art.

I have practiced Craniosacral Therapy for over 43 years and have taught throughout Europe and the United States, specializing in Clinical and Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy.
